INTRODUCING

The Cutter Jean is one of our most sustainable selvedge denim styles yet.

With a 1950s-inspired, heritage fit, this indigo jean is crafted from 99% organic cotton with 1% stretch for comfort. These jeans have wide, straight-cut legs and are made to sit on the waist. They feature our signature chore pocket and the back patch is designed in chrome-free tanned leather meaning no harmful chemicals were used in the processing. Due to the light washing process, the recycled polyester thread and recycled polyester labels, this jean has a low environmental impact making them a good choice for your next wardrobe investment.

Indigo dye, by its nature, is not very colour-fast. This is what helps to create the fade on your jeans after wear! We advise avoiding contact with lighter-coloured clothes and upholstery when wearing raw denim as the colour can transfer. Should the colour transfer onto your lighter-coloured clothing it should wash out with your usual detergent.

ORIGINS

Our industry has a significant impact on the environment due to the process of manufacturing and the waste brought on by fast fashion. At times, the impact is unavoidable but when we’re met with the opportunity to create something truly pioneering, we have to practice what we preach. 

These are our most sustainable selvedge denim deans to date. We have used recycled polyester thread and recycled polyester labels. The leather patch is chrome-free tanned leather meaning no harmful chemicals are used in the processing.  

They have a rinse wash which softens the denim and removes most of the shrinkage from the fabric meaning they will last even longer for you.
